Established in 1954 and originally starting out as a wedding and portrait studio in the heart of Manchester’s Didsbury village, DS Colour Labs soon flourished into a film processing and printing lab. In 2005 the company took a further step forward and entered the online market for photographic printing services. Subsequently securing additional production premises to accommodate the growth of the business.

While the retail site in Didsbury village still fulfils all of our film services, the main production premises is now at the forefront of the business. Priding ourselves on producing the highest quality products at affordable prices, while maintaining fast turnaround times.

With an ever-growing catalogue of products, ranging from standard prints to photo books, gift-ware, contemporary wall art and traditional framing. We are continuously researching photographic developments and exploring new ideas and product expansions, in order to continue providing the very best products and services for our clients.

DS Colour Labs has built a strong reputation for providing a reliable high quality, high-speed service and it is our lab production system which enables our customers to submit an order for printing before 1 pm and receive it on the morning of the following day.
